A recent study, led by Doctor Gerulf Rieger from the Department of Psychology at the University of Essex, showed a series of videos of naked men and women to 235 women and recorded their responses. Although lesbians are much more attracted to females, most women who say they are straight were aroused by videos of both naked men and naked women. It found 82 per cent of the women tested were aroused by both sexes.

Thinking back through the females (of a cpl or single) I've encountered in swinging over the years the vast majority were straight and a minority bi. That's when it came down to it.

Something like 60/30 or 75/25.

Obviously I can only speak for what I've discovered.

I've known a few cpls where the fem in reality is straight but her partner would put bi curious as a just in case measure. Point being bifem cpl on a profile doesn't always mean that in reality.

Not sure it's entirely accurate based upon the reactions of many women who have commented.

Don't forget though that bisexual people are perfectly capable and often do, have 'straight' sex. Just agree the boundaries beforehand. It's what I do and I've had sex with straight couples. Totally didn't touch the other guy at all.

I could actually live for the remainder of my life without ever having sex again with anyone; I'd rather not though

So not touching a woman in a threesome is not difficult at all. That is, if I even like her enough in the first place

However, I choose not to involve myself with straight couples. I'd rather go get myself one, two or three guys without the hassle of a straight woman there or to meet just the guy who is part of a couple and is weighed down by her rules and regulations

Haven't actually read the actual scientific paper, just the summarised online articles.

From what I understand in the articles, there were some straight women who had a response, dilating pupils etc, but the gay/lesbian women had a stronger response - responses similar to a straight man responding to women.

I don't know if it's the researchers or newspapers dumbing this down. But they could be all sorts of reasons for the mild response from the straight women.

There are other, better, more I depth tests that don't conclude with utter bollocks. There was a recent one where women show 'responses' to animals, violence etc.

The conclusion the other tests came to was that women are just more responsive, not nessecarily aroused.

Add to that these 'scientists' are erasing female sexuality by saying it doesn't matter how individual women feel about their own preferences, because they did a 'test' and know better than us. Juvenile and patronising all at the same time.
