I often wonder how we can say whether we have had an orgasm or been made to cum. Obviously we will probably have some form of sensation, but how do we know the difference?

I've had this discussion with some female friends, as what they may see as an orgasm, I may not. We may feel something completely different and without knowing what others are saying the two are, how can we be sure?

I'm not overly sure what cumming is from a female, as apparently it's not squirting/gushing, so if it's not that then I don't think I've cum, as the other thing I feel I'd say it was an orgasm.

How do others feel about this? Can you distinguish the two? just one or the other they're both the same.? What is it?

But I only gush sometimes, and it's not the same thing, doesn't happen at the same time, as an orgasm.

For me i know an orgasm is ahead when i feel red/hot from my chest upwards to my face. Then the sensation increases around my vagina and clit till im a juddering mess. All be it a very satisfied mess. Gushing is a completely different sensation and comes from deep within. Again the sensitivity builds till you explode. With regards to your first question; is ther a difference between cumming and an orgasm. Surely ones a colloquial expression for the other. Do you mean female ejaculations, gushing or spurting. I believe this is something that isn't linked to an orgasm I had a lady friend that used to gush every where yet she hardly ever reached an orgasm

It's hard explaining to some people, as they are stuck in their ways and like to do it how it has worked in the past, not thinking every woman is different, so different techniques may be needed.

I used to think that cumming and orgasms were the same, mainly until I joined this site, as people will say they can cum, but not orgasm (or vice versa). When i squirt, it's normally only from fingers, but I don't need to squirt to have an orgasm.

I didn't think there was either, which is why I asked. Seeing posts saying they can cum but not orgasm, or orgasm but not cum. Talking to friends about what they thought. These combined made me post this, to see if others thought there was a difference and if so what was what, clearly some thing there is... Guess I'll know when/if I ever experience 2 completely different sensations

As I understand it the peak of female sexual release the "orgasm" is often called cuming or climaxing.

When a woman squirts this is known as female ejaculation. It's not necessarily the same thing
