Just had a young couple chat us up. They seemed nice, we set a date for them to come over and then said as you have plenty of time until next week can you get photo verifed. Read then deleted, I asked why and mentioned that most people will want that if they're letting you into their home, blocked, 10 mins later UNLOS.

Why bother? As if we're going to let an unverified person or couple into our home xx

Sounds dodgy overall, but I'd have accepted waiting til the morning for a PV.

Maybe say that you expect them to be photoverifed before you have wasted your own time chatting to them and arranging a time to meet

You aren't alone in this type of behaviour, I had been contacted after commenting in a good morning forum thread by a single younger lady who was looking for females, after chatting a bit she sent me a friends request and I accepted, I've facial pix in mine she didn't and then she went UNLOS, really weird...

Because you appear to expect others to do something you won't do yourself.

Don't get me wrong, we would never invite an unknown person into our house, but at the same time we would never ask nor expect them to invite them into there's.

We feel that a neutral location for a first meet is they only way to go which is why we only meet in clubs.

I could upload pics of me and a few fabswinger ex's...

hey presto..my partners running late but said she we should get started..I just hope my poorly mother in law doesnt die after I've shot my load.I hate rushing away from a meet.Just verify us anyway, and we'll meet up next week..in fact, I'll send the wife, oops I mean gf over to you.

I would imagine that they weren't what they said they were so photo verification was never going to be possible. It is also possible that they were genuine and your questioning scared them off but alas, as in all these cases we shall never know.

OK the chances are they weren't going to get photo verified (its not compulsory for the site, just certain members), but if they'd told you they were going to do so, why keep asking them to do so? And why are you blaming them for being fake when you were the ones who contacted them in the first place?

I am a great proponent of people using this site the exact way they wish to without criticism, but after a few recent posts I'm starting to think you are only messaging people you know are a bit suss just so you can post on the forum about it. Up to you how you use the site, but I can't see much satisfaction coming your way by using it the way you do.

It may be (don't know, haven't had it happen yet), but what do they expect to achieve? Were they ust going to turn up to the meet alone, or maybe with some kind of a blow up doll and pretend the wife just isn't very chatty?
