How do you look like a swinger?

Well we're off on hols soon, it's a big lively resort in Turkey we've been a couple times before. This is the first holiday we've taken since starting swinging and we wouldn't mind a little fun if it came our way lol

We've tried putting posts in the holidays/worldwide sections on the sites we use but no joy apart from someone in a resort an hour away, but it's reckoned something like 1 in 75 couples are swingers so there must be a plenty around lol thing is how do you spot them... or let them spot you? In other words how do you 'look like a swinger'?

OK so we got some decent poolside reading lined up to leave casually lying around on the sun loungers, 'Swingers 1 & Swingers 2' for starters.... Ju dresses raunchy and goes 'sans underwear' for two weeks (but then she's always done that lol) and if there is a naturist area you'll find us there

But short of getting a tee-shirt that says 'I swing... wanna play?' how do you look/act like a swinging couple? lol

xxxx

I think the books are going to be the best give away, when we were on holiday the other week, we played guess the swinger by the pool lol

I think we seemed to think the people who looked most confident when half naked and couples who were quite touchy feely with each other that would have been the most likelys, although saying that we never would have asked them lol xx

What colour and size would you like the t shirts in sorry couldnt resist.

There are some chameleon emblems pin brooch type things we saw on the web (maybe someone can addd a little more info on them?)

We had pin badges years ago off a site, only thing they did was get vanillas asking why are you two wearing them-errr ehmm

In all seriousness we do think some swingers have a certain aura about them.

Its a bit like gay people having gaydar.

How many times have you seen a couple in a bar or whatever who you happen to hold eye contact with for a little longer than usual?

They also give you what can only be described as a 'knowing smile',whichyou no doubt subconsciously return.

It's happened to us and also to swinging friends on many occasions,so there must be something in it.

Lets hope theres a few in Turkey for you.Just make sure your 'swingdar' is working.

Yes but have you noticed how they always show swingers in a negative light on those sort of programes?

It's as if they're scared to portray them in a sexy, glamourous way in case it attracts more people to our debauched lifestyle.

Yeah we've been to Turkey before about 10 times - in various resorts. We know all about Turkish guys already, yep you can shag as many as you like.... either of us

Did get very friendly with one Turkish girl last time we were over there four years ago, she was eral cute (and owned a low cost jewelers), she would sunbathe topless early mornings.. shame we were not swinging then

Interesting angle on this is that some couples who wouldnt 'swing' at home and who dont use swingers sites or clubs can be tempted to play when on holiday. Maybe its the combination of relaxation, sun, alcohol and being surrounded by semi-naked bodies - as well as the 'what happens on holiday, stays on holiday' mentality - but we reckon that even vanilla couples can be 'corrupted'. A bit of mutual flirting, an indiscreet comment or two to see if they're curious and maybe you'll get lucky anyway - we have (including a fabulous all-girl session with a Spanish holiday rep!). You can afford to be more up-front about your lifestyle with people who you've only just met and wont see again, so drop swinging into the conversation once you broken the ice and see what the response is - you could even use the "Benidorm" swingers as the starting point!

The blindingly obvious answer is if you want to swing whilst on holiday then go to a swingers resort for your holiday.

We are on our 3rd visit to Cap D'Agde where there is as much sun sea and sand as you could want but also more like minded folk available to play with than you could possibly cope with, it may well 1 in 75 in a normal resort but here it more like 90 out of every 100.......simples

I have to agree...... Far far more satisfying to have fun when its harder to achieve or is less expected maybe.. less obviously available even!!!

Nothing quite like the corrupt the vanilla on a 'normal' holiday lol...

Ha ha ha... Everyone seems to think Cap D'Agde is full on swingers who won't leave you alone!!! We have been at least once a year for the last 6 years and we have found it to be a very relaxed place and if you want fun, you can certainly find it. If you just want to chill and do your "thang" that is also cool...

Have seen some of these pins and things, but they will never work! Just imagine, you are wearing you "swingers" badge and your mum comments on how nice it is. Next week in the News and the Screws they "expose" these pins! Go on, explain that away!!! lol

Just relax, chat to people and move to conversation to a naughtier area and if they are still talking to you, rip their clothes off!!! lol

Good luck

Well the T shirt idea does work another site uses them also one of the clubs thinks their logo is the internatonal sign of a swinger although we have only ever seen one person (other than K) wearing it outside of that particular club.

Have to say we met a lovely couple on holiday a couple of years ago - still don't know if they swing but wish they did

Not superior at all, in fact far from it but really confused this end now.

Nice idea but it would never work. This site like most others is populated with it's fair share of wannabe's so how long before the "secret" gets out?

No way Mrs Two2 or, I suspect most of the discrete folk on here are going to sit in public "secret" signing as you would never know who was going to spot you

Hi

Well probably we should report back after our hols lol so.....

We met one couple who were swingers (they contacted us from LS site as we are also members there, just before we went away) but we didn't really hit off so nothing came of it

Over the course of two weeks we met and chatted with three vanilla couple who we told we were swingers.

We didn't get off with any of them (one was a real shame as we would have happily done the pair of them lol) but in no case did we have a negative reaction...

In fact one couple we met socially for two more nights before they went home (the ones we really fancied lol) and though they were fascinated by our lifestyle (sat around till 3am in a bar talking about it and telling some tue life stories) things didn't go any further than that.

Very interestingly though, when we did tell this couple that we swing (on our second meeting) they said 'we knew there was something like that about you two, it doesn't surprise us at all!'

So there you go, from our experience this holiday:

1/ pulling vanilla's ain't easy, but we bet it's quite possible.

2/ vanillas didn't react badly/negatively to us saying we are swingers at all, and were generally rather interested in the nitty gritty of it.

Glad you had a great time and have to say you are way braver than us, no way would we fess up to complete strangers, nice one

As we said before if you want to take all the if's and but's out the equation have a serious think about Cap D'Agde. 2 years ago we were just like most folk on here in that we were extremely apprehensive about the place but some good friends persuaded us and we have not looked back.

Chat to some of the genuine folk on here who have actually been there, Rumour would be as good a starting point as any, or pm us as having actually been we can give you some top tips as opposed to putting the frighteners on you

Still having vanilla hols, off soon to the west coast of the US for a couple of weeks driving holiday but if we want swing fun then rather than spend a couple of weeks wondering if so and so does we find it it's best to go to where it's at
