Back of Beyond

Anyone had a message from a possible contact so go to check them out. Only to find you made 1st contact, so long ago you had forgotten?

Had a contact today. Looked at their profile and down the left side you see a little envelope and the message, 'you messaged them #######.

It said we sent them a message 18 months ago, and they only just got around to sending a reply

Now its not as thought the porfile showed they were busy for the last 18months so the block button came into use. What action do you guys take?

nothing - if i have forgotten them and havent spoken to them in that time i leave it be

if they want to chat im happy to as it may remind us all of things

but to be honest i just live in sweet confusion and carry on as before

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I would assume that the original message was as forgotten by them as it was by you, and treat this one as unsolicited.

So, if the content is reasonable, and the profile looks ok....why worry?

Can take a long time for some to gain the confidence to go through with a meet.

We've spoken with several couples who love the idea of swinging, understandably, one or both just don't have the confidence at the time.

We we're all newbies at one time

We sometimes don't reply for ages.

Its mainly because we're interested in the couple but don't, for various reasons, want to meet just yet.

However if you send a reply to that effect it can maybe give people the idea that your just fobbing them off and a "time waster".

If we got a late reply from someone we fancied we'd just think it was better late than never.

Wouldn’t bother us, it is a swinging site after all and some people have lots of contacts, we’re patient enough to wait till someone is ready and won’t take the huff if they meet others before meeting us.
