Tell them it's habit with your friends.

I've signed a work email with DGx before!

I've done that to my manager. He was a bit put off and I said it's just cos he's an awesome manager...... Then burst out laughing.

Caution, this story may or may not be completely true

Even worse than sending your manager I have sent one to a mate who now constantly takes the piss out of me for it. I just blame predictive texting and also stupid I phone keypad LOL x

Mr N sent a very important email to a very important person in the organisation he was working for and realised too late that he had signed off with a kiss.

A friend was emailing the British gas and her husband at the same time and ended her email to British gas with "love you"

For this very reason I am sparing with my X's.

Plus it seems that if you send them to a guy he gets the idea you're a bunny boiler

Marc spent about an hour replying to messages from our inbox here on fab. Shortly after, he had to write a work e-mail to colleagues in the US. He signed off "Marc and Courtney"

Now, those are close enough to our names for him to play it off....but super fucking awkward for people who would never know us by those names!!

I've never done that on a work email but I did respond to a rather short email from a colleague once with...

" Thanks for your cunt message..."

I tend not to do work emails on my phone anymore..... x

I've started sending terms of endearment on here as a result of texting friends. The other way around to most responses

I only put x's after messages to one of my best friends and rarely to anyone else.

I'm guilty of this a lot. I've sent the engineers at work plenty texts with an x on the end lol

I once accidentally sent a pic of my vagina to an elderly Jehovah's witness lady. Didn't put a kiss. Maybe that's why she didn't come round again?

Never mind a text. A couple of times when sales companies have phoned I've said

'love you bye'

A colleague at work has done this before on a work email to me, and I have taken the piss out of him mercilessly ever since

They just ignore it thankfully. I think one of them would be scared and the other is just to young!!

See I rarely put a X at the end of my messages, text and fab; as I think in person i wouldn't end each sentence with a kiss, so I don't do it on a message. But then I have people ask why I don't... because that's what I do... you send me one, i dont

Well yes I do the kiss thing but worse .... I (fem) sent a very filthy message to my partner but sent it to a female work colleague...... The following day the morning management meeting consisted of her smiling at me... And it was filth....

If someone (that's british) doesn't send me one I think I've done something wrong
