I've been on the depo injection for 13 years and haven't had a period for over 12 years, your periods can be a bit up and down when you first go on it but after the first couple of injections and your bodies adjusted it great, I have mine every 11 weeks because if I leave it 12 I get a bit of spotting, they will ajust it to suit you
