"It's a kind of catch 22...... I used to be foolish, but now I always come prepared. But I can see why a lady wouldn't trust ones that I brought, but then I would also feel slightly concerned if she said, 'use mine instead'. How do I know they aren't tampered with??? I don't want to catch anything, nor want any more kids just yet, but it is a shame if we can't trust someone to not tamper with protection.... I honestly think, that if I was in that situation, I would probably double wrap lol, just do oral, or walk away.... Maybe I am too paranoid lol X" I always explain well in advance why I feel how I do about condoms, that allows people to walk away of they so wish, I also am very happy to have them check the wrappers to make sure I havent tampered with them. And what exactly would someone coming along with a tampered condom be hoping to achieve? If you're that paranoid, maybe you should open up a facility in your house where guys you meet will have to be subjected to a lie detector test(to check if they're actually human), strip searched(to see if they're hiding a second bloke in their pockets, who is trying to avoid your facility), go through STD & blood tests(to ensure that they're disease free and haven't modified their genetic make up to produce acidic sperm that will permeate the nuclear weapon proof condom that you will provide).., and then finally sterilised (just for good measure). Safe sex is the responsibility of every adult engaging in casual sex, not just that of a single male. No level of protection or safe sex measure is 100% safe.., but if you want to swing, you do the best you can to protect yourself and leave the rest to chance. If that isn't acceptable to you, then don't swing. And lastly, I see lots of profiles of couples who clearly state that THEY ONLY WANT TO PLAY WITH GUYS THAT DO BAREBACK. I agree with you 100%: some people just like to make daft sweeping generalisation comments for effect I think. As I said on the bareback thread, we are responsible for our own safety, what's so hard about that?!! I find these threads ironic: the same people who claim to provide questionnaires, seek verifications and have those verifications ratified by Ban Ki Moon that they've NEVER played bareback, check the use by date on condoms scrutinise the surface of the wrapper with an electron microscope are the same discerning souls who enter a swingers club, remove their clothing, go into a darkened room and bang/get banged by someone's whose face they cannot see!!!
