That awkward feeling when in a club and seeing some one attractive and bitting the bullet to approach a single or a couple... The butterfly's and the increase in adrenaline.. Do you always go for what you want or do you some times back off and miss out?

Do couples like to be approached or do the approaching?

If I want to approach someone in a club, it feels like a long process as it's hard to tell if a a man is in a couple or not. So normally observe a while and see if any form of contact is made with me (eye contact/smile); may even ask staff if they know situation too. Then when I feel comfortable approach them, but by then they're probably in a room with someone else

Hahah you and me are very alike then... even if some one makes eye contact with me Iam that guy that looks over my shoulder to see if there looking at some one else... the ice breaker as they call it is the killer x

oh yes so many times you smile at someone, thinking they're smiling at you, but it's the person behind you... then act like I didn't do anything lol Guess just stand against the wall that way there's no one behind you for them to smile at x

I am crap at approaching people in clubs which is why I only really go to them for prearranged meets...

We don't feel awkward in approaching anyone .

Nothing ventured and all that .....

We stopped going to clubs last year when it became too much like people only went to socialise though .

We have discovered it is easier to approach people before you go to a club. That way we know that someone we are already attracted to will be there. When we're at clubs we sometimes approach people and sometimes get approached - by couples and single guys. It was daunting at first, but it has got easier.

We try to be open at clubs and smile and make eye contact with people. You never really know until you have talked to someone what you really think!

I agree I like to make a connection with some one and hopefully chat more at a club and go from there as its almost the ice breaker done xx and at least you know there's mutual attraction rather than going in blind x

Will say if i saw you in a club it would definitely be straight up to talk to you!!

We find this really difficult too. Especially with couples. So many times afterwards we wish we had just approached a couple!

With guys I worry if I smile at them they will think its game on lol!

If I see a guy I like I tend to smile and give them my 'naughty eyes' look lol!

every one is in the same boat they need to do a traffic light event where you go in with stickers on and your name but you also have smaller stickers and if you'd like to play its green like to chat Amber then if your shy red hahaha
