well if you see a profile with no pics and veris and on the site over a yr thats a give away on the other hand there are profiles with ancient veris on them so we avoid those

My favourite is the old 'send a face photo and phone number with your message for a reply' despite them being on the website 4 hours and without a single photo themselves

The fake male profiles usually have a pic or two lifted from a porn web page, gay bloggers page or big dick sharing sites. They usually want sex talk or pics so letting them know early that they aren't getting either gets rid of them. I have called men out on their pics and been blocked. A man pretending to be a woman would possibly want sex talk and pics too. Someone new with no veris and trying to get fantasy sex talk would ring alarm bells to me.

I am a single female. I have been accused of not being a single female. By people who contacted me first.

I must say it has never happened in a club that I was accused of not being a woman...

They are all ran by a cat called snuffles who is doing it for tax reasons.

For us the final hurdle for them is a quick chat on the phone. Assuming it's meeting a woman or couple, a quick 2 minute phone call is easy peasy. If they don't wanna give their number out, fine give yours. We use an old phone with payg top up's for all calls, any hassle from peeps who know the number, we simply pop out and buy another sim for a fiver. Job done!

we have found it's the ones who when asked where their profile pics are become defensive or offensive that's for starters, then there're the ones who pester for a meeting and either don't respond when you give time & place, or do agree to meet you turn up at said time & place and then don't bother to show at all. Had loads of those. Is that fake enough?

if someone is lacking in the usual indicators such as veris, profile photo approved etc we ask to send us a quick photo of them with a piece of paper with their profile name on. That always sorts the genuine from the not
