Percentage of lurkers?

what percentage of people who view threads on the forum are lurkers in your opinion?

I have had a number of connections and even a couple of meets though people messaging me on the back of reading some contribution of mine in the forums. These are not people I ever see on here, so I'm thinking the percentage of 'lurkers' is probably fairly high.

I get loads of messages from people commenting on something I have posted who's name I have never seen before

No idea how many lurkers there are thought I wouldn't like to say

Not sure of the percentage but often get messages referring to a thread we have posted on and when we look for their comments there aren't any, so it certainly happens.

I never really thought about this. Then I did face pic Friday, and now it scares me to think of how many people read this stiff without commenting.
