FabSwingers.com forum: Strap On Advice Please??

I have a number of toys and decided to expand my collection with a strap on, however not having used one before I'm unsure of which one to try to begin with.

I looked on Lovehoney and tbh I was a bit overwhelmed by all the different kinds, and different prices, I know I shouldnt be swayed by price but I'm not looking to spent a fortune to begin with until I know if its something I will use over and over again hopefully under £50 to start with.

If I enjoy it I would upgrade.

Also looking on Lovehoney the reviews can be a bit hit or miss - one for example had 13 reviews most saying was good value for money BUT not very attractive to look at, others saying they looked good but weren't comfortable or were fiddly to get on.

Ones I was looking at were a thong type harness but again I'm unsure due to my size, I have wide hips, large thighs and a huge bum.

I am a size 16/18 and short, not quite 5 foot tall, so I would like to hear from ladies who have used one.

I'm 5ft 7 and size 22!

I find straps on with a harness type fastening more comfortable and they usually come with a "rigid" toy, but that's my preference. I did buy one with a thong like fitting with three "floppy" toys in various sizes but I don't like it.

It really will be down to personal choice and what you feel comfortable with: have fun!

Take a look at the double insertion types, they are shaped like a small hook.

The smaller end you wear inside your own vagina. They loop shape in it wraps up over your own clitoris and leaves what is the 'penis' jutting outwards.

They are a lot less obtrusive than wearing a harness and more naturally sized.

The harness types you can in most cases change the dildo for larger and larger. All the way up to obscene sized if you want.

We would say the first one is less imposing and more natural looking, less frightening to who you want to use it on.

beware the cheap ones, oftne the dildo is glued onto the leather and it wont stay there long.

i bought one a couple of years ago with a harness which can be adjusted. the toy itself is sturdy and solid. it vibrates too and the lady i used it on enjoyed it!

i bought it from barbarakelly sex shop. i think it cost about £12.
