Mmm not sure what some people will think of this but here goes. Used to be on SH and used to use the chatrooms there a lot, sometimes for hot sext chat, sometimes to perv the fine webcams etc. I find the technical operation of the new fab chatrooms great, but actually sometimes I really do just want to come on to chat - i.e conversation about general things which may include sex but is not limited to "get yer tits aat" or " rub yer pussy harder darlin". Whilst I am an out an out horny, pervy leacherous animal who has done things that would scare the bejesus out of many people, sometime I just like to have a normal discussion! I think that maybe one room, for general chat, without webcams could be it - maybe not, I don't know?

I started talking about bikes (second favourite subject to sex) in one of the room today and felt distinctly uncomfortable as I had the feeling that people in the room did not want to just generally "chat". What do people think?

chat is what you make it the general chat room is suppose to be just that general if it does not accomadate you well what can i say. What i have found is that chat rooms on here are a bit clicky so i hope you find what you are looking for

I've noticed this a lot in these chat rooms. I just put it down to the fact I was a single fem, so was bound to get attention.

But obviously I'm not the only one that finds it that way.

Not really a lot to be done I think, tbh I do find this site more of a sex site then what SH was. The focus was on swinging there, not instant sex, as it appears here sometimes.

Most of the rooms will be full of blokes complimenting whoever is the most naked! sadly its the way it is, the forums here are fairly social - I always found forums more interesting than chatrooms too.

Chatrooms do seem to be very "clicky" but I understand some people do just want to chat to existing freinds and use this as there only social networking site.

As a single guy I have noticed it is hard for couples and Single females to hold a conversation without "numpties" just trying the constant come on, Which to me, this site is not about! Sureley we need to keep a closer eye on this so people feel free to chat and get to know new people without all the unwanted pestering???.

I have chatted in the general chatroom for some months now and find it to be interesting, funny and thought provoking.

Topics of conversation can range from lobster bisque to light fittings to fav tv or music, rarely does it envolve sexual chats (unless in pm's ) aside of course from the usual "show us your tits" but in the directing room you will only find your escorted (booted!) out

So to get to the point, I think the chatrooms are great and I am sure that i'm not alone in just wanting to go in there to merely chat

The welsh room is probably the exception tho.

as pretty much all of us live in south wales and most of us have met (at least socially), it creates a very social room with less emphasis on the investigation of each others undergarments.

altho with that said I seem to recall that me and you have shared to odd filthy whisper in our time Lippy

We find the chatrooms to be generally too big! It would be nice to see a limit of 40 rather than 200. At least you would then stand a chance of following some of the conversations (especially after a vino or 2)

Another nice touch would be a webcam only room i.e. webcams must be on or you don't get in

Having said that, understand partly what you are saying - it's mostly the single guys on here that are doing most of the leaching, hard sell sex chat etc etc (do it myself sometimes, but I have also seen couples do it). Don't know
