I don't think it would class as local

In the olden days public spirited folks made public ones, for the wellbeing of society. I think now that people are more selfish, it's helped lead to the decline of such offerings. And this despite the introduction of cordless tools etc - which suggests it should be on the rise.

I knew of one Sheffield public one fairly recently but it no longer exists.

A new gang, the glory hole hit squad, needs setting up, so that the U.K. can have proliferation of these pleasure giving service delivery portals. They'd need DIY, good planning and execution skills. I'd gladly pay a little more in taxes for its funding but it may need an arts council grant, to ensure it's tastefully completed.

I'm not particularly sexist but a lot of guys have tools and equipment and could also benefit enormously.

Why not start your own?

It probably isn't that difficult. Find a suitable location, advertise when and where it's happening and literally sit back and enjoy the sausage selection you get fed through the hole
