Reading some profiles it is mentioned that the pics etc have been hacked. My question is , how can you tell that your pics have been hacked unless someone else has told you they have seen your pics somewhere else?

Then admit their gf/bf had the login

If you want to know if your pics are being used, drop them into google images and tineye.

Some profiles have warnings aimed at all sorts of educational institutions...

May be showing ignorance of techno details but never heard of - tineye- and also how so you drop images into google images?
