It might be difficult to take a selfie but you should still have some idea about lighting, pose and composition.

I would also have reservations about a cameras internal memory it's so easy to switch between that and a memory card on some or even just click the memory card out and back in. How would you address that with potential meets?

cameras can have two memory slots, or be wifi enabled...or NFC(just touch it with a smartphone)to transfer pics..

OP my serious advice is, try getting some meets, before going down the I'm a photographer route. Build trust and recognition first.

I wouldn't be keen on the idea for the reasons Nice Couple said.

The other angle would be for you to use your clients camera & apply your creative flair but looking at your avatar & public pic I am not into that style of photography.
