I use now and again. Definitely feels better for me and the partner, last longer, veiny and look massive.

However I do ache after, boy has to rest before next session

I have a few. Yes, they can make you harder and different ones can stimulate your partner in different ways. Just don't wear one for more than 20 minutes or so because the restricted blood flow can cause damage.
