"sorry to be a bit div but wtf is bone broth? An incredibly nutritious and health boosting food. I boil chicken bones to use as the stock for a spring veg broth Do you mind if I ask what your recipe is? I hadn't heard of it until today. " It was my gran's recipe. Soak 200g soup mix (lentils etc) overnight. Boil chicken bones & remove bones - sieve if you don't want the chicken bits. Boil drained soup mix in the chicken water Grate carrot, parsnip, finely slice leek & any other veg you fancy & add to the water & bring to boil. I add some finely sliced gammon to it too. If it's too thick add more water & a veg stock cube & salt & pepper to taste. I have blended in the last but prefer it unbkended - I also seem to make it differently each time!!! It's nice without the soup mix too. I buy pour & store bags as great for freezing soups & sauces x | |||
