Ive found its only people who arent really happy with themselves that put others down to make themselves feel better. Having been both ends of the scale ive never felt the need to belittle anyone to make peace with the way I look. And they make out they are so confident when they clearly aren't. It's sad really x

I've been handed a bag of old photos by my dad. I was always the fat one at school. I wasn't fat at all - I was skinny but had a pot belly. A foot & back injury has stopped me exercising for last 2 years but going to sort that now. I'll never be skinny, nor do I want to be but I would like to be a bit better toned

That's true she was and its now the average UK dress size for a woman and where most people class BBW sizes to start from not to mention in the days of Bardot and Monroe they more often always wore corsets to enhance their fugue to give the illusion of a desirable shape

Yes but that was American sizing- in the UK that would have been a size 12 x

Your a pear shape so your curves are more specifically to your waist area, but they are still curves! as I've said previously, most people think of curvy being an hourglass figure, out at the chest, in at the waist and out again at the hips and providing the plus size lady isn't too large they do adopt and create that shape better than most

And sorry to burst your bubble, but there will be some guys that will turn you down and yes your shape could be the deciding factor in that. We are all attracted to different attributes in people, be that physically or more for personality, the world would be a boring place if we were all the same and therefore wanted the same things.

Thanks.....but don't apologise as I have no bubble to burst. I have never ever been shunned for sex because I am not a BBW so I simply wondered how many men on Fab would turn down sex with someone my shape.

I'm curvy but no longer a bbw, when I was really big I got plenty of messages but what I do know is from personal experience that in the last 6 months my inbox has tripled, my profile text is exactly the same the only thing that has changed is my size, so from my personal experience more guys are attracted to me now I'm not a bbw.

Different people like different things there just seem to be more bbw appreciation threads in the forums. I'm sure if someone started a slim or average girl appreciation thread there would be just as many people post on it. But they never seem to get started for some reason.
