I don't see why it's an issue - if she is meeting alone.

It's pretty common that hubby gets a say even if he's not present.

We are the same. Hubby said for me to make a single profile but I did not want to. We are a couple and even though I play alone he always has a say, if he did not like the man or felt I would not be safe it would not happen.

How does everyone feel about the opposite scenario. Husband free to play but wife has a say and running a couples profile.

Either way it's a COUPLES profile.

I know some couples have their own individual profiles on here too but all the ones I seen and chatted too are open about it.

Personally if it's a singles profile of EITHER sex and it has hubby/wife has xyz then it isn't and should get the same treatment as a guys posing as a couple or a fem posing as a guy.

But strangely enough for some reason they don't......

Doesn't it depend more on who's actually 'meeting'?

I also think most people would view it differently if a woman were to ask if it was okay for a man to accompany her initially on a social, so that she felt safe, rather than if a man asked the same thing.

I just wonder why it's acceptable for a woman to say she will meet alone with her husband's backing but a man saying the same thing is treated with suspicion (by some people).

A man could be as much at risk as a woman in some scenarios.

He could be at risk, but society's norms make us assume he can take care of himself.

As for suspicion, I see what you mean, but we just tend to take people at face value, so it wouldn't really bother us.

I suspect it's more likely that we're just incredibly naïve!

I see lots of single women's profile that openly state they are looking for a woman to join her and hubby for play!

Which should certainly be a couple profile but hey Ho. Matters not to me.
