Single Men vs. Men in a Couple

Hi All,

This is something I have been wondering for a while. Very often on women and couple's profiles they will say something about how they are looking for couples and single men. But then they go on to list really high requirements for single men (for example - MUST BE: over 6ft, VWE, very handsome, etc.).

Now, I have no problem with this, and I completely understand that people can write whatever they want on their profiles....I am not complaining.

My question is, rather, do people who have this on their profile expect the man in a couple to meet the same requirements of the single men they are looking for? And if not, are they only "compromising" because it is a couple rather than a single guy? I am just wondering. I appreciate your thoughts and comments!

I personally find couples harder to play with because there is the dynamic of the four people involved. I would have exactly the same requirements for a man, be he in a couple or a single. We have the problem that we are attracted to different types of men, in terms of play. This results in me playing alone with my type .... and him sharing his type (he does not like to play with my type). I think I have just contradicted myself .... with couples, you also have the dynamic between the couple.

Yes, it does make it very difficult when there are four people to please.

I agree that I wouldn't play with a man in a couple that I wouldn't play with alone. I just wonder sometimes because people message us, and have requirements for single men that we clearly don't meet (Marc is well below 6ft tall), and I wonder if they are making an exception because we are a couple as opposed to a single man.

Plus I am curious about people's motives, I suppose.

I've seen the profiles your on about. They give off the impression that you need to be superman if your a single guy.

I know what you mean to, they lower the standards if your a couple, but if a single man you need to be some kind of Hollywood star lol.

Yes, and the man in the couple is clearly not that ... but that is another dynamic, I think ... wanting someone different from your partner ... variety and all that
