If you have to pay a fee then they are not genuine, the genuine ones never charge you,so be really careful as there are scammers out there xxx

Best advice is steer clear of anyone asking for a fee

If you have any chance of being a success, you won't have to pay a fee.

If anyone should be getting paid its you.You dont pay a fee as your the investment so to speak and the company would see a return

Definitely sounds a bit suspect - steer clear . No reputable agencies will charge a fee for an initial portfolio . Saw an article on TV recently about this kind of thing - amazing how many people ended up paying out upwards of £800 for a few pics !

there isnt a single modelling company that asks for a fee to produce a portfolio or to get you work. They give you a commission for the work that you do and they keep the remainder.

If you want to try modelling there are websites designed to give models a chance to contact photographers ( and vice versa) for TFP services, this means that you give them your time and do a shoot with them and they give you prints of your shoot for your portfolio.

Anything else is just a scam
