Ladies, have you ever had any problems with having sex while you have a coil, I ask as mine has come out due to an over enthusiastic playmate??

Oh gosh not good, had you had it checked recently?

I had mine removed 7 years ago due to being paranoid about it falling down and the threads were clumped when it was checked. Had the implant ever since, and fingers crossed no problems

It may have become displaced before you had sex and then it came out because of it.

I always get mine checked when I have a smear.

As already mentioned get them to cut the strings very short next time. Mine stabbed Mr L in the cock when I first had it.

I never found it took much to displace one in my experience. Hence I can't use one anymore.

No idea what I will use when the implant is no longer an option.

I'd get back to the clinic and get it sorted x

I haven't had kids so the coil is of no use to me, useless piece of information I know.

I've got the coil and had the threads cut short , it's taken a real battering with my new playmate but still no problems after 5 yrs .... Also have the depo injection so no more periods , ready to play 24/7 much more easier to arrange plays. Xx

I've never had any problems in the 11 years I've had coils. Only the pain having them removed when having a new one.

I hope you're OK... I can imagine it was painful.

I had the coil and got pregnant as it wasnt fitted right lucky for us we still use condoms when meeting others. I would never have it again though.

Yes , had the coil fitted to stop heavy periods which it did but I was spotting all the time so he suggested depo as well and the periods stopped all together ... I should go back to have the coil removed but it would have to be a hospital appointment as the strings are no longer visible and I don't want to start bleeding again if it messes things up x

I'm on my 4th coil and never had any problems I always have the strings trimmed and every time I have a smear it's checked sounds like you've just been very unlucky
