Fully agree. I don't like it when people try and hide their bodies. However it's dependant on getting people comfortable with the meet and giving someone the confidence as well. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes mine has its faults but recognising perfection doesn't exist as everyone has different preferences is key. Celebrate the body don't hide it.

I'm very self conscious, and am very aware that photos can be deceaving, I also find it hard to read people and really don't see hints (until well after the event when my brain goes "By the way..."). So I always warn guys; if it turns out I'm not what you were expecting then fine but if I am then make it perfectly clear!

So personally I prefer someone with confidence.

But I know why I'm self conscious and I'm working on it, my belly is going whether it likes it or not! Unfortunately it is stubbornly clinging on

I have body confidence issues, it's fine, I don't apologise for myself any more like I used to, the best thing I ever learnt, how to accept a compliment. A few of the women I've been with have been the same, and I find it kind of cute sometimes. Other times I'll be more blunt about it

I'm slim, always have been, got a bit of tummy fat, but I'm not really down with the effort required to be ripped, so all I do is accept compliments, and the best compliment is if someone fucks me

That is awesome, nice one!

I want to drop 2 stone as I know my body seems to comfortably sit at 12 stone so I want to get back down to that.

So I am watching what I eat like a hawk and working out what exercises I can do that won't damage or wear me down too much as it is quite a big year for me with surgery, but I can't let that stop me! Plus losing the weight will make me healthier and so heal better.

I am determined to get a body I can comfortably live in

I think it's hard for people to be confident, even if people constantly reassure them!

I for one was very overweight when I was younger, and was bullied teased etc, that never leaves you and shattered my confidence for life unfortunately.

I still see that overweight person in the mirror to this day and don't have much confidence at all.

I did have my first meet the other day and was so nervous due to "body confidence" I just hope it didn't show! Although she did leave a very good verification

So I think confidence is important, but some people will truly struggle to be confident x

For me it's a huge thing. I recently lost a lot of weight but have since got pregnant and so in 3 years have gone from fat to slim to now huge bump. But, even with the belly atm I'm a hell of a lot more confident than I was when I was bigger. x

Well said. I think every 'body' is beautiful....except mine. Classic self loathing.

So, not liking your body is something that's deemed unattractive? It's not like we have a choice. You can't suddenly decide that you love your own body overnight!

If someone isn't confident, or is self-conscious about their imperfections, it doesn't turn me off them. It just makes them human and real.

I'm confident when I'm on no strings attached situations. If its for pure sex I have no issues.

In the real world and dating etc I hate myself. And it's clear that most men would much prefer someone who wasn't a bit fat. A guy wouldn't even talk to me the other night because I wasn't fit enough. Kick in the teeth really.

It's interesting how body confidence seems to be correlated with size. Lose weight and you gain confidence seems to be the link. However I don't agree with this. Confidence is the mind not the body. I've met loads of bigger women who recognise how fantastic they look and similarly slimmer petite women who think they're fat. Bodies come in many shapes and sizes and body lovers love many shapes and sizes. The correlation should be about linking these two together not trying to create an idealised view if perfection touted by magazines and photoshop.

I agree with it being in the mind, the problem is that when you're bigger (and specifically if you are big younger) then it only takes a sentence from someone to form doubt. A "are you sure you should be wearing that" or "it's a shame because you've got a pretty face" is enough to knock you for good.

Just because some guys are ok with people who are larger in size doesn't mean I'm going to be happy with my body. I liked how I looked when I was slimmer, which is still far from the "ideal" body shape and size but that I don't actually care about. It doesn't matter what people say, nothing is going to change that, I have no interest in being what other people like, I want to be how *I* want *my* body to be like.

going to naturist beaches and stripping off helped massively with body confidence. there;'s a lot i'm not happy with but it is what it is and going naked in front of others who weren't judging was a big confidence booster

I think body confidence is a really big thing to tackle. I have awful confidence in my body and could see why my shyness might put some off.

Luckily the meets we've had have been fantastic and they have done wonders for making me feel slightly better. Although I don't like my body it doesn't interfere with play as once I'm undressed and they are still willing, there's nothing left to hide and I can just get on with the fun times
