I guess this would cover people who meet others via sites like this, where a few pictures are taken of the 'action'. Should they appear at a later date where faces are easily identified....

Anyone any experience of this???

I find it extremely disturbing that there are several single men on fab who post photographs in which their own face is carefully hidden but that of their female partner is clearly shown. There is absolutely no way on fab that the female partner of a single male can confirm her approval for such a photograph to be be posted. Several of these may well be "revenge porn" and therefore illegal, and those that aren't are leaving the poster open to claims later that they were posted in revenge.

Whilst I agree with what you say in that it is concerning, in order to be convicted of revenge porn there is a need to demonstrate malice and I don't think the scenario you discussed would pass it

OP - the laws re: revenge porn are new. Whilst there was some previous laws they were not specific to revenge porn. Therefore I guess its a case of time will tell. The CPS have recently been issued with new guidance in prosecuting such offences
