Now the amount of messages you women get in general feel very sorry for you. Whether you have just joint or been on years you must get bombarded with messages. My question is how do you manage to have a consistent conversation with someone you actually like without losing the convo due to the others you receive lol ?

On my single profile I block everyone I don't like ... s them out after a few months, plus I make myself sound mean, and I am really nice ... of course, or I offer to send Mr law to service their needs, they soon go away and dont cone back. No sympathy needed here

Why feel sorry for us? No one has to be bombarded with messages. If I'm getting more than I can handle I do something about it. It's really not that difficult to manage an account on here.

If I'm chatting to someone I'm interested in I close myself off to everyone else. If I'm thinking we might meet I give him my number and we chat via phone.

It's really not hard to control the amount of messages a girl gets - effective filters work wonders! Even tho I am looking for single guys, I've blocked messages from those outside my age preference, and have blocked other groups I'm not interested in (ff, mm and ts), and being clear on my profile about what I want helps too. Yes, I get plenty of people chancing it but it takes about 2 seconds to delete and block.

It's easier to keep track of conversations if you've got an avatar that's different or makes you recognisable.

I'm not too bad at keeping up with my inbox and manage to delete as i'm going along and can easily talk to several guys at once (in fact the more guys i talk to the easier it is for me to chat somehow).

But yeah even i lose track of conversations or don't notice a message sometimes, if my inbox gets too busy and i feel overwhelmed (which isn't often) then i just tell people i'm chatting to that i've got to go and i come back online later when it's not so busy.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I thought I was chatting to a couple of members recently, only for them to log off just before I pressed "send".

A couple of days later when they next check their messages, the likelihood is that my message is down on the inaccessible page 2.

It's unfortunate, but after some brief expressions of frustration (in both cases they initiated the contact), I delete the sent messages and move on.

Generally if I can read the whole message in the preview, its pretty easy to delete and keep on top if it.

I keep my friends list for ongoing conversations and people I want to meet, so they show up easily on a scan through.

I'm also pretty harsh at delete and block those that don't appeal to save getting repeat messages. Its a tool on the site to be used to keep the site fun and good to use, nothing personal, just saves time deleting messages from people I wouldn't wish to meet

I get quite a few some days and hardly any another day. At the moment I seem to be getting quite a few more than normal....but as I won't talk sex or just talk to anyone they get a no thanks

Filters are your friend!!

Before I discovered their wonder, it was like scrambling through garbage to find specks of gold. Now it's all far more manageable (though that block button gets a lot of action too)

I don't have that problem. I get one, perhaps two messages a day from new people.
