I presume they mean they want someone who isnt going to blab about who they are meeting, where and when and what they did etc

I have had many men say they are discrete but then they tell me who they have met, fucked etc and its obviously the opposite of being discrete

I understand it as, it stays between the two of you. (Ok I know some leave veris) this not always happen, as I see it in the forums countless times, and they don't need to broadcast who they are meeting you can figure it out yourself by what is put on the forums.

I know some people use it to mean "please don't tell my wife/husband" but if a couple says they are looking to meet a discrete couple. Do they mean dont put it on Facebook? Dont talk about it at work? Dont tell your priest? Dont put an ad in the paper about it?

Many use it as they think it's what you want to hear .

Others because they are cheating .

And some because they want a meet in a private setting where no one else will be around .

But since many people who use the phrase are indeed using it because they are cheating, I find it a useful way to filter people out.

Since I'm looking for people for an ongoing connection I would prefer that we are all on the same wavelength. I'm comfortable out about being non-monogamous, and so I look for people who are similar - and therefore unlikely to need to be discreet.

We are a married couple, not cheating. However, if a previous meet bumped into us out and about with our kids I'd expect discretion and no reference made at all. We don't blab and expect the same in return. Verifications are a fab thing. Not indiscreet imho. N.

I would feel like I'm a hypocrite if I said I was discreet, because I have mentioned previous relationships and sexual encounters right here on fab forums, but no names were mentioned and little reference to which encounter was with whom, so I'm unsure where the line is drawn on that subject. I am also overly cautious about saying the wrong things, and in my paranoidness, sometimes stick my foot in my mouth, but that's something I'm getting better at not doing by not dwelling so much or blowing it out of proportion on littler things.

As for genuinity, people are always changing due to circumstances and events in their lives, I've gone through periods of not being genuine (bending the truth or outright lying), but I've near enough been caught out every time and received some form of comeuppance, hardly ever equal in terms of cost, sometimes more, sometimes less, but I'm always the one being hardest on myself no matter what happens

If i give someone a verification then i have chosen to write it and let them display it

If some guy goes round telling others that they have met me, fucked me etc then that choice is taken out of my hands

Hence i rarely give verificaTions and only have a few myself as i prefer discretion unless i really trust and like the guy
