Is this because that's what the Internet says, or because they've recently purchased one?

I was under the impression that the Hitachi wands didn't come with a UK plug and (I may be wrong here) they are no longer in production.

Most UK wands are plastic and a bit rattly after a couple of months. The doxy is aluminium and, through reputation, a higher build quality.

The Hatachi is the best one I've used and I think you're right that they're no longer available. I'm unimpressed with the LH wand so will do a little research into the doxy.

Ive had an Hitachi which was good but had a reoccuring problem with the lead twisting and pulling out...

The ones with buttons do not have the power 'range' that ones with a thumb dial have...

Lovehoney wands:

* Micro's are c**p..

* Mini's are ok but you need to put more pressure on due to flexible head..

* Rechargeable's tend to have more problems than the mains power ones..

LoveHoney mains powered delux are EXCELLENT...

and yes I have tried rather a lot...

We own both a Lelo and a Hitachi. Each have there own uses and followers. The Hitachi is definitely more powerful and the Lelo is rechargeable. We would recommend buying both. No toy box should be without either one.
