Kids at home !!

we recently arranged a meet with a couple at their house on a Saturday evening only to be told at last minute that their kids would be in bed .... This scenario is definitely not for us, just seems wrong on so many levels, what are your thoughts on this ?????

Having a young child ourselves we know that the chances of them stayin in bed especially if they hear voices is very slim, therefore wouldn't ever dream of playing in a house with children in,!
