What does regular mean to you?

I've been seeing people looking for either a regular fb or regular fun or just one or two regular people. I know I can ask then what regular is to them, and I do, just wondered what the great and good of here think regular would mean?

Couple of times a week, once a week, every couple of weeks, once a month Etc?

Someone who I have an ongoing connection with. That could be twice a month, or twice a year. Or even less.

But it's the ongoing connection that is key.

. Excellent reply . I see a number of people regularly and was struggling to make a definition. The ongoing connection is the most important bit.

Regular can be as regular is.

I used to play with a couple for 8 years, we met when we could, sometimes weekly, fortnightly or even monthly. Just depends when all 3 of us could get together.

I have now been seeing another couple regularly, usually weekly, sometimes not so often.

If you saw someone once a year, every year, it would still be regularly.

Regular would not be a specific amount of times to meet in one week etc, I would mean to me someone who can and will meet on regularly as and when we could both be free - work and other life commitments permitting

For me it's someone I have been continuously meeting. One of my regular friends I see every month or sometimes twice or 3 times a month,but then we may go 6 weeks without meeting because he's away with work. Another I may see 4/5 times a year or once,again because of work commitments. Others I see as and when we can but nothing is on a weekly basis. I like the variety this way so I don't stick to just one regular fb.

A regular fb or regular fun or just one or two regular people, it means that person or persons ask at least, the minimum commitment with the regular lover(s) with intention for safe sex and exclusivity relationship

I've had a few bits and pieces fizzle out because people expect 'regular' to mean 'at least once a week'. When I point out that I see my most committed partner only once a month on average, and often my nesting partner (who I live with) only once a week, they get funny with me and say I'm not looking for 'regular' at all.

Sometimes I wonder if they're actually looking for a committed girlfriend, but one where they don't have to become exclusive and still have the option of putting their dick in others.

to me a regular meet is just somebody I keep calling upon when I want to meet be that once a week or once a year, if I keep going back to the same person I'd class them as a regular meet

I don't think they are looking for a committed girlfriend just sex as regular as one but somebody they can forget about between shags and who they can drop when somebody else who takes their fancy more comes along

Spot on there especially with work and if you have kids it's nice to have that special someone you can call when you have some free time.

We have a 'regular' guy that we will meet as and when we can. Sometimes we see him every couple of months, sometimes just once a year, sometimes a couple times a week depending on his and our schedule. He's been our 'regular' for more than 7 years now.

I have seen the same guy countless times but still wouldn't say he was a regular as it's usually every couple of months or more

I can't do any regular than that as it would feel like some sort of commitment and I'd get bored

We are looking for someone regular but for us that means someone we can get to know, trust and develop a good relationship with. If that means meeting every now and then that is fine. Regular doesn't really mean exclusivity after all and having two or more regulars most would happy with we would have thought.
