Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Saw Sean Lock last month - very poor, couldn't sustain the laughs for the full evening.

Previously seen:

Jimmy Carr (very good)

Robin Williams (superb)

Bill Hicks (brilliant)

Baddiel & Newman (OK)

I like Ed Byrne and Ross Noble. Bill Bailey is funny but I find he repeats a lot of his stuff.

Bill Hicks is without a shadow of a doubt my absolute favourite comedian of all time though.

That reminds me - saw Bill Bailey at Ashton Gate this year.

Not memorable at all!

"Rob Brydon, Andy Parsons, Lee Mack"

Have you been watching The Trip with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan?

It's brilliant, and they're both very good at doing impressions

All 4 episodes that have currently been broadcast are still available on iPlayer if you've not caught it...

West

Love the old school comedians,,,hate any of the newer ones like Michael MacIntyre who feel obliged to shout everything all through their act..

Also the overly camp ones...ok for a hen night I spose but thats about it.

Alternative comedians?...alternative to what?...making people laugh?

Exception being Steven Wright...very funny and very weird observational comedy

Hicks once said that he stole Leary's act and covered up the fact by adding punchlines and to really confuse people he did it before leary

probably the only comedian who may have changed the way i see myself and the world!

I love Eddie Izzard too,he cracks me up
