Why wink if no interest?

Sick of getting people winking us and then you send message or wink back and nothing, my question is why bother if your not interested just a complete waste of time.

Some people wink back to be polite, if we wink and get a wink back we would say hi on a message and take it from there.

Thing is they wink first not us so why even bother?, we are the ones being polite.

Maybe they do it accidentally. It's easily done on the desktop app. Or they use winking differently to you. Maybe they wink to show they like your photos or profile but don't actually want to meet.

Who knows?

Fab is full of such mysteries. Shrug and move on or you can drive yourself crazy wondering why people do what they do.

We've had a few messages saying "thanks for the wink", but neither of us have knowingly sent one. Does the site send out random winks from you? We've also received them from people at the other end of the country and wasn't sure if they were random winks or due to posting on the forum?

We've found winks to be a complete waste of time, nothing's ever come from them so we now just delete them on sight. Every now and then we'll wink back, did a couple winks back yesterday just to see and nothing.

If people don't like us enough to message us then it won't lead anywhere anyway.

And yet that's not my experience at all. Have fwb that started with a wink back at the start of the year

Also had social meets that have led somewhere and social meets that didn't go any further, that all began as winks

Guess it's the world of fab, we all use it in different ways and get different outcomes as a result

I wink a person if I like their profile, it saves .e and them writing a message and them reading a message.

At least you're interested in communicating with the person you're winking. Others who wink aren't interested in communicating at all.

We have met some lovely couple from a wink.

If we wink it is because we like the profile and would be interested in meeting. If we get a wink back then we send an email. We never send winks to those to far away to meet but have done by accident it easily done on fab. Either way we don't get hung up on those who wink back but then delete our email it shows they were just being polite.
