La-La Land?

That's the one place in California I could quite happily never go back to again. Loathed the place. It's on a par with Vegas.

Never been to a more segregated city... and the literally hundreds of homeless people walking the streets not 4 blocks from City Hall was an eye-opener.

Gimme San Fan any day.

I frequently call out bullshit as I see it but get chastised for being negative and patronising, funnily enough those same people only pay attention to the negative posts and not the many positive ones I post.

I enjoy discussion and debates, and having an opinion.

You don't have to agree with my opinion and if you can present a reasonable fact enforced counter I'm open to change it, but don't chastise me for have one.

I never shove anything down anybodies throat (giggles) I express an opinion and can discuss happily but you don't have to agree with it and I don't push for you to.

Then when that topic is finished I can happily talk about stuff else with neutrality, a skills some forms users need to learn.

I can think of two examples straight off the top of my head of users commenting on unrelated threads to the current one to make out I post nothing of value.

One particular user has done it several times.

It might be an idea to look at the last time you gave a fuck thread .

When you begin to give a fuck about what others imply or say about you or to you on here , it's time for a reality check .

Remember that keyboard warriors and trolls are strangers . Why be concerned by their thoughts ?

If you feel it's important to tell the truth , and you prefer to call a spade a spade , think first before being nasty . The truth is the truth in your mind only and can often hurt .

If you take what other forum users say about you to heart then you surely must understand how your 'hard truths' could hurt others. Or are they not truths if its not you saying them?

Got to agree on this because some people take it too far and it may be because this is their focus or because they can slap someone hard and walk away, not giving a damn about the consequences. Although we do not have any obligation to care about the effects of our posts on others, I think we should always consider it. If you think well people should be strong enough to take it, not everyone is, so why assume they are and just think about how you put things. Some people can come across as very rigid, moral and holier than thou, some who have never experienced life at all .... I don't think anyone has the right to be like that .... just saying.

I don't take it to heart, my point is that some folk need to learn not to take forum posts personally.

The art of debate in to never get personal and where possible stick to the facts, if it's a debate on personal outlook accept that you will not agree with other people before joining in.

Some people are genuinely nice and do mean what they say, even if it comes across as a bit saccharin.

When you're brash you can come across as an arsehole if you don't use tact, which can be hard to do on the internet.

White knights can be female too .... and to be honest your description would be good for a lot of single makes we have come across in a couple. of clubs we no longer go to ... they will get a swift reminder that some of us don't need saving and can think for ourselves.
