Does anyone actually like being referred to as an "older woman"? Have just read a thread by an 18 year old and he has written multiple times that he is looking for "older women" and it just made me wonder if women actually like to be referred to in that way? Or if reading that would instantly put people off? Are other terms like Cougar or MILF, better, worse or the same?

My understanding of older is that it's just someone older than me. Non age specific.

We were referred to as an "older couple" by a single guy who was 24...I can honestly say that I didn't enjoy it. I don't feel particularly old, and it made me feel like I was dealing with a child or something (even though only 3 years separated us).

I hate being referred to as a cougar or milf. I'm 40 and do not reside in USA and am not a bored housewife xxx

I don't see the point in dressing it up as anything other than being an older woman

I can't stand milf or cougar,I don't think I'm always very mature either despite my age

I always feel than wen someone refers to somebody as "older" they mean about 20yrs - a generation age gap

It honestly doesn't bother me. I am older than an 18 year old and using euphemisms is just facing to face the truth. I dislike labels anyway and if a younger man likes older women how else is he going to say it?

I guess to an 18yr old guy everyone is older.

he couldnt really specify younger could he.lol

im older and dont mind being referred to as that, but wouldnt be jnterested in anyone who specified that they wanted ' older' rather than just falling within their age range.

Doesn't bother me, i am older than an 18 year old so technically they are correct. I don't have any hangups about being older than someone else.

Once had a guy in his early 30s message me saying he was probably too old for me, that made me laugh.

No I don't though whenever I see on the list of forum posts, older women, I know it will be from some young lad in his 20's wanting to meet older women, claiming he loves them and doesn't understand why they are not queuing at his door

I think it depends on how you read it to mean, "older" women or women older than myself.

I can how seeing it as you being an older person could be irritating but being older than someone else is just the truest way to say it.

"Mature" instantly makes me think of grandma's with knitting needles and cheese

All women have to be older than him

Any younger makes him a pedophile

I see posts/profiles like that & just see it as a desperate way to get a shag with anyone.

As others have said to a 25 year old i would be an older woman (i am 47 btw) however a 44 yr old wouldnt see me that way i hope.

Just say what age women do it for you, be specific.

I dont mind bei g called a milf or a gilf, however cougar doesnt apply as younger guys rarely do it for me...

Is there a name for us ladies who like older guys?

If I said I was looking for younger men, it'd be hilarious if all those younger than me went off their trolleys and had a sulk. They are younger than me.

I can't stand MILF, GILF, MATURE etc....

In truth I'm not really happy with any reference to my age.

Inexperienced men usually think that meeting a woman of a certain age will mean they experience a lot of sexual confidence and expertise in that woman.

The ones that REALLY get to me are the blokes about 46/49 who message me and say they are looking for an older woman.

They CREEP me out!

No it doesn't. Pedophile has a specific meaning and it often misused.

I tend to avoid younger guys in general and I don't meet anyone who focuses on age.....although I have no objection being referred to as an older woman, as that is what I am.

No it's not, if age was just a number it'd be acceptable to fuck a 15 year old.

Emotional maturity plays a huge factor, that's kind of the point.

Younger guys/gals tend to be immature in comparison so it feels more like babysitting than fun.

Unless you like that idea but its bordering dangerous territory.
