I only trust "in person" verifications. Cam ones are not worth a thing (in my view).

Many of my female friends have a similar view.

It's brutal, ^^ similar to the job ads, entry level/trainee hiring recent grads but need to have 2-5 experience. Women on here want the verfication but none are willing to help get it, so how do you get it

What would we be verifying? That one is not an autobot?

Cam verifications can prove that the profile is that of a woman or a couple. There are very few women on the site pretending to be blokes

I will always verify someone on cam , gives them a start , as long as they don't just want a quick wank . If I wanted to watch that I would go stand in front of bathroom mirror

it can be hard getting that first verification. but for some it gives them the confidence to get more

Hahaha well the few messages I have sent, majority of them have been deleted or I have been politely declined. ^^ well Josie I am not a bot, secondly you will be verifying that I am who I describe myself as on here. Hahahaha I am not sure about woman having men profiles, but I can imagine the amount of profiles men have created pretending to be women is huge. , makes life harder for the decent guy

Why not go to a club or a social? Honestly, my biggest problem with single guys is that they tend not to show up for meets (in my experience)...so a cam verification is useless to me. I would rather see that someone has met him in person. That he is actually here to meet and isn't just looking for wank material.

We, as a couple, got our first verification from a club, not a meet. I recommend something similar.

But the OP raises a fair question. So many people say they want to see that someone else has met him in person.

Who the hell do these people think they are? Are they are so fantastic they want someone else to meet the newbie so they don't have to?

If more people would use their common sense and get their heads out of their arses the site would (maybe) be a nicer place.

ours are only from club meets or socials . single guys generally don't want to turn up . or just after a quick wank on cam or over phone .

not everyone we have met has verified us,but any single guy we meet we always verify

way we see it always a good selection of well mannered guys that people have met before at the clubs so no need to look here

Meet me or someone else in a club and the verification will mean something to somebody

Am happy to verify you on Skype, if that matters to you

OP I would offer to verify you via cam but the majority of time I keep my profile like this so my verification wouldn't be much use to you, sorry. They would just think I'm some fake and ignore your veri.

Try the cam rooms. Might be someone nice in there that will verify you. x

I don't think it is a matter of people having their heads up their arses. For example, we have met both verified and unverified single men. However, if I were to give advice to someone seeking a verification in order to have an easier time on here, I would recommend a verification by meet over one by cam. That's all.

Yes, some people want someone else to meet the newbie before they will, but others will meet either way while still giving preference to in meet verifications. I mean, wouldn't most people give more credit to a verification by meet than one by cam? And clubs/socials/parties are a good way of getting that.

a while ago when local guys were asking to be verified in status, we used to say meet us at certain place and time, they would never turn up

my experience has found they are after a crafty charity wank on cam

or a quick charity shag on way to work , and think by asking to be verified that we all fall for it

Thanks people for replying. Indeed a club/social meet would be a great starting point to get verified, but I don't think I'm at that stage yet to be heading to clubs ^^, got a feeling I'll be abit out of place, perhaps meeting a companion on this then I'll go. But till then a webcam is my choice. A quick charity wank, there's enough videos on a free xxx sites to do me till the end of time, plus who knocks one off in a few mins.
