We have a deeper love and understanding and know each other warts and all now.

With regard to sex, it highlighted weakness's we had together and rather than causing a rift allowed us to share our thoughts and be honest with each other and including other men now fills the rut we would otherwise find ourself in. All relationships over time become less exciting which then can lead to affairs, opening things up allows us to keep things fresh.

well said..was it not difficult to take the first plunge? I was in a relationship but more of a vanilla which does not do anything for me...i could not express my sexuality openly with my partner...we are not longer together

Liberate Is the best word to describe it!!

Everything is out in the open and open for exploration!!

We have experienced many new and exciting things and once we know each others thoughts on what they want to experience with another person on fab it is all good and possible and it's not cheating which is the best part!

It spilt my ex hubby and myself up.

He wanted me to swing I didn't , in end i agreed..

He got jealous, angry and couldn't handle it afterwards, and it ruined our marriage with his angry violent out bursts.

I left him and continued swinging alone. Ha

No not at all as when we first met we were seeing other people and both bored. We admitted monogomy doesn't suit us and decided to explore non monogomy from day one. It has meant we have no secrets at all which we love.

The biggest hurdle was admitting that sexually we can't be everything to each other. One thing we have found is if we don't meet as we hadn't for the past year our sex life slows down and can become boring, seems we need to the input of others to keep it electrified."

Honestly, I don't really know if swinging has helped our relationship. We were already so strong and connected as a couple when we started swinging, that I think I would say that it was more of our beginning strength that has let us enjoy this adventure.

What it has done is made things more interesting, exciting, and fun. In a way it had also made me be able to see just how close we really are in other aspects of our relationship (in other words, our relationship does not need to hinge, as many vanilla relationships do, on monogamy).

Well swinging created our relationship as we met on Fab. We travelled through the the "meets" to "dates" and are now a "couple".

And it continues to remain an important part of our lives. Both of us love the freedom for sexual expression it allows. We are both without jealousy and share absolute trust. We both believe that you can fuck for the sake and thrill and sheer craziness of it without emotional attachment. And importantly we both take great personal pleasure from the exploits of the other when we are not together.

Maybe one day the fun starts to fizzle or change into something else and when it does the time will be right.

For us it's a piece of our lives. It neither defines us or rules us but is there if we want it.

Oh and we just love being rood. And laughing. This life makes us laugh, a lot.

I have found out waaaaaay more than I ever knew about him, his kinks, fantasies and fetishes which he hasn't dared tell anyone for 20+ years he's had the confidence to share with me, it makes for an amazingly satisfying sex life for us both. It's done wonders for our relationship. Alex doesn't want to be a couple on here and she enjoys the club/party things. Where she can actually see who she wants. Also she feels pressured by other women to join them and as she's straight she doesn't want to.

But she loves watching me (lucky man I am) with others couples or singles. And she loves me to tell her what I did when we have fun together, which has increased significantly over the past 2 years.

The pitfalls for some would be no honesty and hiding their liaisons. When that occurs it's a question as to why.

Where as we have a totally honest & open relationship and Alex often chooses my partners as well as vetoing some also.

We also met on here, but our relationship is evolving and I can never see it getting boring with just him. We are needing the scene less and less and to be honest if I felt that our sex life or our relationship would be boring or not enough without swinging, then it would not survive. Ive been on here before and after relationships and also during the end of the last one. I would have loved to have done this as a couple and both as individuals too, as I see sex and love differently. Sex is fun and a release where as the love is emotional. But I couldn't dream of bringing this up to him as he's not the right kind of person, jealousy being the main culprit! Would love to be with someone that could define from them both and have lots of fun with and without each other

Forged insecurities from the start... as he was a single make on here prior to Me..I always worried I wasn't excitimg/hot enough as the girls he'd have met on here. ....

Every time we split/rowed he'd come back on here.....

Then when we finally played as a couple ...I felt cheap..like he didn't love Me if he was willing to pass Me about guys (we only met single black guys)

In the end I felt shitty. .

But. ..I will say..

If we were in a loving relationship..and I was made to feel good about myself etc then maybe it wouldn't have been that way ... in the shit toxic relationship I was in...it was no good at all....

Tbh mate it was fkd and no swinging would fix it...

My point was on my experience it didn't help...in loving trusting relationships it seems to enhance them
