Fake profiles??

Hi guys

My first post on here, and I'm sorry if this has already been covered.

Is fake profiles a big problem on here? The reasons I am asking is I keep coming across profiles who seem to be identical same wording and even in some cases the same pictures!

It seems to be "single females" who have 1 picture, the same demanding attitudes (want a face pic instantly, want gym fit guys etc etc)

They are never photo verified, no verifications and their profiles look like they have been written by a 12 year old!

I know you will just say to pass them by, but it seems like these profiles are occurring more now?

Maybe the site should make it compulsory that profiles should be photo verified so at least we know that person is actual the sex they claim to be.

Just one last note I actually had a "girl" message me and after a few exchanges admitted that she was intact a he! And said its the only way he can get to talk to guys!

Report those suspicious and move on.

Photo verification can be faked as well as the profile so forcing people to do it won't work.

Even profiles Meet verified etc can be faked. I just suspect everyone. Or ask to see on cam or them to send me a pic touching their nose or something specific. Soon out the weirdos pretending to be something they're not.

Report... Move on.

There's filters that prevent people who are newbies/not photo verified/unverified from contacting you. Use those.

Do a Google images search on the photo. If it's been stolen from a porn site it'll show up this way. Then report.

Easiest way is quick phone call to verify gender, or ask for cam .... dressed and just saying Hi.

i too have been a little fooled by guys posing as fems, but being fem myself its usually the content if their messages that give them away ( eg, they say what they think girls say to each other, guess work by watching porn ) .

Desperate but quite funny too at times.

Do a Google images search on the photo. If it's been stolen from a porn site it'll show up this way. Then report. "

I like that idea - might have to use that when a sus meet pops up next - ---- those that knew from before know that I was stalked after meeting a women off her (in a local pub), who was not what she told me and nor looked remotely like the face pics sent, in fact she was so not nice in many ways - when I refused the offer to have sex, I told her why, and for next 6 months made my life hell --- so your advice seems cracking one to me - thanks

suz has her own profile. she had a guy who was wanting straight away for her to text. Well as she has had problems with guys knowing her phone number, she only gives it out after getting to know them.

got called a fake and that she was a guy!

she has her own veris from people that have def proved they are not fake. Pics and a face pic to send when wanted.

I can understand caution but being rude doesn't help.

I totally understand people being wary giving out their mobile number, but i would rather give mine then block the caller if i need to, than put myself in danger going to meet someone i haven't spoken to just to ensure they are at least female.

we can never be completely sure about anyone, so each must chose their own level of safety.

mine is probably OTT which may be why my search continues, but hey thats my choice.

100% genuinely true - I guess in scheme of things we work hard and play hard and indulge ourselves in this lifestyle, so occasionally shit happens, we just deal wit it - like the fact that I am open about my sexuality and status with people you think would welcomed, but you be surprised the amount of grief I get when simply messaging someone

I use kik and skype to try and them out il give thema couple of days and the fakes usually don't give out numbers, won't take a live pic or go on cam and when they start losing get high rate and block you

Do u not know u can use the live pic function on kik and ask for a finger to nose which will then show that the pic was camera pic meaning there's no way to fake it

Whatever site you go on you find fakes from sex sites to fb it's overrun with them, a use caution.. How long they've been on and now for a meet a check pics with Google and a message them this too or don't meet

I tend to avoid photos that look really proffesional two reason really they are probably fake and pulled off the Internet and the second is the real ones are generally up their own arses to pay for a phot shoot no offence just an opinion
