If you meet somebody in 'real life ' would you tell them about your past, alter ego or whatever on here?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Depends on the guy. I usually have a sixth sense about whether they'd understand. However there would be no lasting relationship with someone who was judgemental of my lifestyle.

"If you meet somebody in 'real life ' would you tell them about your past, alter ego or whatever on here?"

Its a good question. I'd like to think that if I ever found 'the one' i'd be able to share everything with them, including my past. Everyone is entitled to a sex life after all, and in some ways this lifestyle is more honest than just going out and 'pulling' someone in a bar. i know this is probably a bit naive, but i like to be honest and up front and would want to be accepted for being me....warts and all!

Did do, admitted it all and said if we are to make a go of things this is who I am, we can explore together but i can't change who I am.

We are now on our fourth year togther and absolutely rock solid because of the honesty. Luckily she also enjoys the extra attention the lifestyle offers. Happy days!

Be true to yourself and others and life is a much easier ride.

Always.

The right person will not give a shit about your past. If they do, they're not the right person for you.

How can someone in fab be judgemental of another fab member, if you want to meet a person, an you believe the person to be the right person.

why would you want to change them, why would you want to meet a swinger and be shocked at there level of experience.

You'd think the more experience one has, the better the sex would be.. I'm sure the occassion change, is far better than the occassional break if you wish a relationship to work.

Honesty is the best policy, the alternative is living a lie and if you grow to love them, or worse still, them you, morally it's going to be tough

I've told people ive dated. Some get it. Some don't. Some find themselves on here not long after. My experience is they don't want to be with me because its weird that I've slept with more people than them and they get a bit funny about it. Oh well

Probably not on the first date.... and I'd maybe not go into too much detail, just keep it vague.

There's a difference between not telling someone everything and "Living a Lie".

If you'd shop-lifted a bag of sweets when you were seven, would you feel the need to let your potential mate know? What about if you'd "experimented with drugs" as a teenager, or experimented with your sexuality before quickly deciding "yuk"?

Surely many things are just an episode in your life and don't warrant a chapter in your biography. Certainly some things are not significant enough to "need" mentioning, or hiding. They'd just pop up in conversation if the topic came up.

I have never mentioned I have swung in past relationships as it's never come up, but nowadays, meeting online is a given. I have been single for that long I doubt if asked it would really be much of a problem

Why would it be tough?

I've always told new partners early on in a relationship. It's only ever caused a problem with one of them.
