I do the opposite, actually. If it was particularly intense sex I tend to laugh instead, but I can only assume that it's the same chemicals & hormones that cause it either way!

I think it's just a huge release. The oxytocin the body produces combined with the adrenaline and other hormones. I get quite emotional after a really intense one and I just need to be held close. It's lovely to feel protected because at that point I can feel a bit vulnerable.

It doesn't happen often thankfully.

Although I do find I get very cold.

I have cried occasionally, it's generally when I've had a lot going on and feel a bit emotionally done in, I think the release of an orgasm just opens the floodgates for everything.

The second time I cried a good 5 min after the orgasm. This one was more embarrassing!

The other 2 times was as I was having the orgasm.

Just because they aren't crying does not necessarily mean they are faking. Conversely, I have also found myself crying once or twice

I've googled this and it's a well known reaction by all accounts. Certainly nothing wrong doing it. I guess it's to do with the release of chemicals in the brain and the whole euphoria of the moment. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. I'd quite like it if a woman had this reaction with me. Crying in a good way of course. Not crying because it was dreadful

I've cried before - I felt really embarrassed the first time. But like others said , I thought it must be a chemical reaction. Sometimes I think it must be a release of everything literally ! either that or as usual I always blame hormones.

This has only ever happened to me with Mr L. It was very intense. I cant even explain it but it was a physical and emotional reaction at the same time.
