It generally starts for guys in their teenage years as the unobtainable taboo of the woman next door or friend of their parents. It's the fantasy that can become reality in later life. A nice MILF is the absolute jackpot for a lot of men, especially younger guys.

MILF is usually referred to as a mature mother usually from age 35.

IMO I think its their sexual confidence and vast experience. ...well in reference to older milfs obviously a 21 year old mother technically can be called a milf because she has children . However it has mainly been used in regard to older women in the over 35 age range .

Totally agree - there was a really hot french teacher I remember from when I was about 15. That was my first MILF crush and as the school year wore on, I became infatuated and used to go red whenever she asked me a question. Since then, I have always had a crush on older women. If there was an age gap of around 10 years or more - that was most of the attraction for me.
