If it's a social event, no problem at all.

If it's a one on one I dislike anybody being on their phone unless it replying to an important text because I find it rude to be browsing the Internet on any site when you have company.

I always turn my phone off.

If they were riding me and still on the phone I might assume they were going through the motions and not really into it

Ok at a group social because I've done it to show my profile and look at others. A 1:1 social or sex meet: no, it's bloody rude

I have done it on a one to one social, to show a pic to someone that isn't on public view, for example.

Messaging or texting while on a meet - unless it's urgent, then no.

Thinking about it I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with a phone call during being fucked, the guy on the phone hearing you being fucked, the guy doing the fucking knowing somebody's listening wishing they were getting what he is...

I mean obviously not my thing but I can see how it'd be a turn on

I dont have my phone any where near when I'm playing and expect the same in return. Especially don't want it going off when I'm dogging and alerting "civvys" what I'm upto.

Plain rude if using a phone while on a social or playing.Mind you I always have a mouth full of cock and can't answer anyway.

Haha! I had a coffee with a lady once who said we'd probably end up fucking later, anyway, at hers she started looking through loads of men profiles on fab saying 'he's nice' etc.....I sat there agreeing for a while then said 'this isn't going to work' and left. She txt later to say she didn't fancy me after all but didn't know how to say it!

Maybe alot of people just don't have the conversational skills for a social, so using the phone for a mutual interest like fab probably makes them feel like they are more interesting than they actually are.... Or maybe not.

Depends, if they are showing me/us something, fine.

If they are sitting logged in to Fab or replying to messages etc then I'd cut the meet short and tell them why.

I'll have my phone within easy access and I won't switch it off incase there is an emergency. But I won't sit fiddling with it as I think it's rude.

One of my Fab friends came up for a weekend earlier this month, and we both did pop on Fab during that time. We attended a social together, we also run a thread on the forums in the evenings, and we both logged on to check that. It doesn't mean that we had plenty of time for each other.

I would want to understand the facts. If someone was on their phone at the table, on a date etc whilst the person is with them and in front of them then that is rude regardless of what they are doing on the phone (unless they said a valid reason why they are checking their phone, emergency etc and its a one off then I'd let that slip). If unbeknown to the individual that the person was on their phone when the other is away from the table, regardless of what they are doing and for what reason I wouldn't care less as long as they put it back by the time I returned?

I have my phone on silent when at work, out with friends etc: I'm not a doctor on call or awaiting an organ donation so I don't need to be tied to my phone for any reason.

Met a guy for a social meet and he asked if he could phone the garage about his car. No problem says I. After ascertaining the car was fine he went on to talk about it's engine, whether he should trade it in blah blah.

I left.

Must have been an hour later he phoned to ask where I was!

Having fab on your phone and keeping yourself logged in does not show you are online all day.. It kind of switches off after several minutes and shows when you were last on line.

Nobody knows why someone is online whilst on a meet. Except for them 2 ppl only. This happened to me this week. I had a one on one at mine. he asked me to log in to check something out. Also looked at my private pics. That's when we were getting to no more whilst having a drink and giggle. When the fun started obvs no phones. So where's the issue on that one..

but if someone just kept getting phone out for the sake of it then I would just assume there very bored!

Funny, this happened to me whilst I was upstairs in his bedroom slipping into something more comfortable for him. I chatted to a friend about it who'd met him a few times, which made her realise he'd done the same thing while she was at his house too!

How ever I do have permission tonight

That still doesn't make it ok!!

we were having a mischievous time, together..we came onto fab, we didnt mutually deide to watch netflix, or mutually decide to go to the pub or the cinema...it was an appropriate place to have our giggle and we did so....dont know what all the fuss is about..i dont have an internet phone or my tablet with me so he posted for both of us and said so..if this isnt for some people then fine...we thought it was fun..people shouldnt judge, what we do on our meets isnt anyones business..maybe im just not that uptight about stuff like that..i dont want to ask permission to check my usually off phone, i dont expect others to have to ask me for permission to do anything for themselves...i like freedom to be and let others be who they are...im more comfortable that way ...just my addition to the thread, so people know how i felt about the whole thing...not that my opinion counts for anything, in this one particular case, i wouldnt dream of being so important giggles

ps it was my idea...i was the corrupting influence of breaking fab taboos, illusory laws..i seem to just go with the flow.. sorry honey you are getting shit for my unspoken rule flaunting x

pps...has anyone guessed the right answer by the way..are we on?...hehehe

I pm'd my answer to TIG

Hey, what can I say I have a competitive nature...!"

ahh well x

"Rude if it's either a meet meet or a social. Bad manners and unacceptable in my opinion

I still stand by this rule despite my other thread, posted whilst with a meet and when it was her idea.

funny how she isn't being slated

I don't see a problem with what you were doing last night, you were both together having a giggle ......together

Not one of you ignoring the other which is different

Yep - despite what I've said above, this situation is completely different. Not sure why many don't see the difference?

I see it as, fab and the forums would not even be anywhere on/near my mind during a meet. "

it wasnt it was a way to get to the person we had on our minds...hehehe..if they had been in the house of commons im sure we would have sent them a letter

I don't look on any websites if I'm meeting someone or at a social. I enjoy the night and I can easily be prised away from this site to actually talk face to face with people

I wouldn't ever be on fab at the same time as the person I'd met either. I'm into discretion and I find the attitude of posting threads of the 'hey everyone we're on a meet together' rather immature.

Since all our meets are dogging meets , we often have to direct people to where we are . Or they may have just arrived , so want us to know they are here . We update while we are out and often get messages asking where we are .

So we do log on while we are having meets , although not when playing is actually taking place .

For those who feel so totally opposed to the concept , and use the fact that people like us may do such an abomidable thing as a filter , block away , if you haven't already

Rude ...bad manners and to me says alot about a person. Why they would want to be on their phone for anything when meeting socially or for play.We seem to be a world obsessed with mobile phones and forget how to really converse.

As someone else had said previously on your other thread, why not pm them during your meet together or better still after your meet together.

As you said you're meets are predominantly dogging meets and your swinging world is way different to time as we have both found out and discussed over the forums before.

If you're both comfortable with it and having fun then all is good & others opinions are irrelevant.

I like my time with someone to be more than just sex & having a laugh together creates a great chemistry, imo.

The times inbetween shagging on a meet are just as important to me as the actual sex.

"Mostly on my meets we get on to the subject of being popular on fab and they ask to see messages. A guy couldn't believe it when I had over 3000 messages haha. "

Bless.
