My situation actually gives me more free time as their mum is taking them away for a week.

Let the fun begin

Brighton - even Hove!

Yes, child care now. Might get the odd day but that's about it. Porn and wanking for me.

For single parents who have their kids live with them it can be really awkward but that's life! Ive managed to get 2 nights off from my two thanks to a family member but for the majority of the 6 weeks I won't have a social life without the kids being in tow.

No makes it easier as no school run to arrange for.

Being that mine are older they welcome mum going out for the da/evening x

Mine haven't broken up yet though

It's never easy for me anyway as I'm a single mum and don't have a mass of family and friends offering childcare. Then work means days are out for me too. However when I do get some freedom. ...

No kid's here, so no difference for me. That said so many people off work on their holidays would make it easier to take some time off during the day for any meetings. Should anyone local be interested in me.

And before anyone asks, I'll make the hours up later as largely their not too worried what hours I actually work as long as the job gets done.

Makes it easier for us, it's difficult for one of us to play on school nights.

There just seems to be far more happening during the summer. The kids being off doesn't impact my ability to meet as I work full time anyway and rarely have time to meet normally.

My time is more limited in the school hols but I do manage to meet if I think they're worth it

Not really as I work full time anyway.

I enjoy the summer hols and having holiday clubs & play dates in place on some days means if I can leave work earlier I have a few hours of me time...

I hope not! We don't have kids so makes no difference to us, but might to those we want to play with

The holidays don't really bother me and my activity. Logistics are always an issue no matter what time of year it is.

It's easier for us as our sitters are at college so they have more free time and whilst it's expensive we make hay while the sun shines

No difference for us. Had out kids very spaced apart so the older ones can always look after the little one.

And if they don't, then all services shall be revoked

Fortunately my son is going to Crete with his grandparents for a week in August. But it'll be a long and potentially frustrating month until then lol

Not for us. We only play in the evening anyway when the spawn have retired for the night.

If anything we will get more chance to play as we won't have so many early starts for school runs.

And doubly exciting; our gorgeous FB is back in the picture. Hooray!
