should i be on this site?

i have had quite a few people say that this site may not be for me as i am deaf and very inexperience but i feel that should not stop me trying to have the same fun as everyone else although i know it would be even more harder for me. I know most people would be put off but not everyone the same and some people may prefer an inexperience male and not put off by me being deaf.

I'll be honest I wouldn't meet a deaf person simply because I wouldn't feel comfortable having sex with somebody I couldn't have a conversation with, I like a drink and a chat and to get to know somebody first

Don't listen to people like that. Nothing worse than someone who's prejudiced towards somebody different to them. Usually because they don't understand. And if that arse is down right rude enough to say that, they're not worth talking to anyway

What is f**king ignorant about that???

I wouldn't meet a short guy; she wouldn't meet a guy who she feels she will not be able to converse with easily

I know a deaf guy at work and try as hard, I cannot hold any real conversation with him. Maybe others can but I cannot

She didn't say anyone couldn't. . She said she wouldn't feel comfortable with it.... it would be the same if you had a particular preference to who you would or wouldn't meet.

If they are deaf and can't talk which some deaf people can't, and I can't sign I couldn't have a conversation with then

but as usual on here somebody always has to see the worse in what you say and get aggressive

It's hard going for a lot of people on here, so you're not alone.

You could improve your profile by having an avatar pic rather than a shadow, and more pics in your gallery. Apart from that, have you thought about going to a club or a social meet? The people are always friendly and welcoming, in our experience, and it might be just what you need to boost your confidence and get things started.

Neither are 'fucking ignorant '.

What is 'fucking ignorant 'is the way some people are so quick to judge other people's preferences .

If conversation is an important for someone's preference on a meet , a foreign language , and an effort with someone who is deaf isn't gonna work . Simple .

Same as if you wanna meet a gay guy , you don't choose a straight guy . Or you may want some ff action so you don't choose guys .

It's not your deafness that would put us off but your virginity. I'm not interested in being some kind of newbie wrangler and your inability to take on board any kind of advice over the last few years of posting the same old threads looking for sympathy over the years you've been on here.

I'm not sure if it's me you're accusing of being a troll. the op has been here many times before and now has a new profile posting the same threads with the same questions he did for many years with many people offering advice and support

I haven't said he shouldn't be here but offered an alternative suggestion as to why people haven't been interested in him the whole time he's been on and off here...call me shallow, but this is not an altruistic pursuit for me, I'm here for my own pleasures and meeting virgins isn't one of them

From what I understand, a lot of people on here are very tolerant, there is no reason for you to leave, some people will be put off by your hearing difficulties, but not everyone is the same. Just do what you can and I'm sure things will work out.

Oh and for the people who say you can't have a conversation with a deaf person, invest in a notepad and pen, if conversation gets tricky and sign language is not a skill you possess, most people can read and write. I work in retail, and that's how I solve the issues with people hard of hearing.

Happy swinging

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

OP - The site is as much for a deaf person to connect as it is for those who are not.

We all started somewhere in swinging & were all novices, so that's that issue covered.

Use the site for the fun benefits you can get from being a member & NEVER let the haters question your motives, why you're here or your deafness. Whilst you won't be everyone's taste, you will be someone's - so you stay as long as it's fun for you.
