We don’t set rules or limits as we believe sex should be spontaneous.

As adults we expect any partner to alter what they are doing if asked as we would do.

Most people know when their partner is receptive to what they are doing so there is no need to set limits.

We don't really have limits apart from safe only and things we are just not into anyway. Kissing is a must as it's just not the same without it. But kissing a guy on a meet is just physical there is no romance involved. Sex and kissing with a meet is completely different than when it's just us. Sex and kissing a guy we meet involves no romance whatsoever. It's just good fun with banter as well and good sex. Do I ever feel any romance for them... absolutely not they are just good friends we enjoy social and fun with.

Totally happy with this, only rules for us are no bareback (except with each other, oral ok) and same room. We started with rules when we were new to swinging, but now have a lot more confidence in how we feel and what we want

We tried the whole not kissing once , that just felt so unnatural and strange we decided there and then that wasn't something we could do again, but apart from that we go with the flow generally will try most things once , as for keeping things for ourselves , there's the connection between two people that love each other ( sounds corny I know )

Kissing isn't 'erotic' (in an unusual sense, it is a vital part of sex (though is erotic in its own right).

Sex without kissing, to us, is a mechanical, empty your balls into a bucket, sex act.

Our only rules are no anal and no slapping. We do anal (though rare) but not slapping (doesn't do anything for her).

Whether we play together with others or go on solo meets we have the same simple rule. No bareback.

A list of rules takes away half of the fun. I've been with a couple as a solo female and been present with a list of things I can and can't do and it ruined it for me. I couldn't just switch off and enjoy.

I've never really got the no kissing thing. I've joined so many couples where kissing has been off limits. They could kiss between my legs, kiss my breasts, but not my mouth.

I do see why some couples want to hold something back just for themselves though. So we try to keep things like some of our fetish play, as just for us. That way, it's not likely to inhibit any play we have with others.
