Calderdale innit

I think some worry they will get abuse if they say you're not for them ,so blocking seems easier.

If you're not for them then why would they.

I think if u make the extra effort to attach private pics to an email, the least they could do is reply with a thanks but no thanks, then if they get abuse block .

I dunno how awkward would that message been "well it was nice chatting to you but now we've seen you we definitely don't want to meet you goodbye."

It may be awkward, but if their not going to meet , it's not really that awkward , at least they would've shown respect by replying .

Probably a good idea to set your expectation default of a reply to any message you send to zero then any reply is a bonus. You'll have a better experience around here I'm guessing. It really isn't worth being concerned with non replies as no one is obliged to do so regardless of who considers it rude or not.

So, they saw you, did not like you and blocked you. As a slightly tongue-in-cheek retort, does this say more about them or your sense of entitlement?

I am constantly surprised at people's expectations of a reply and that they take a block as the ultimate insult.

This. You have to assume you will not hear as otherwise you will end up continuously disappointed.

I'd find it extremely rude to say no thanks....I'd feel that they think I think I'm better than them. I'd prefer not to reply although sometimes I carry on chatting if I've liked talking to them but tell them I'm not meeting. I guess most view this as a timewaster but I'm trying to be polite.

Yes I've had that a few times and been chatting away with people thinking everything is good then blocked
