I can understand that.

I've lost count of how many times i've sent a message, only to find that within 24 hours they've gone UNLOS.

And that's considering that I don't message women that have only been here 5 minutes (figuratively speaking) - as they tend to be inundated anyway.

I think I shall have to avoid newbies alltogether in future

Have no problems with people leaving if its not for them, but if you have an in depth conversation and then they just leave without a word it is quite rude. I suspect that they a men pretending to be couples and women. Should only chat to verified people really which is unfair to those genuine newbies.

I think you need to consider where a persons/couples priorities lie. IF for instance they have been found out as being on the site or they have a bereavement or tragedy in real life then their priorities are not going to lie in telling every person they are chatting with that they are leaving.

I do accept that In many circumstances it wont be this serious but I wouldn't concern yourself getting annoyed about it. I just write it off as one of those things

It was most likely a guy pretending to be a couple and the same with the woman.

They hunt around for pics, then do one. Happens all the time....

I think some people feel morally conflicted about the whole thing... either that or undecided and very cautious.

When someone stays, like us, that tends to be a sign they're pretty well adjusted to the whole scene... they have successfully re-aligned their perspective on the issues involved, see it all in a fundamentally positive light, and feel pretty comfortable with it all
