How close will you go....?

There is an interesting thread on here that asks how far would you go... It's a good thread worth a read as it illustrates the feeling of posters towards meets.

However, for us, the more telling question is how close would you go? How close to your home would you meet someone? Same County, same City or town, same village or street? Don't forget, these very often could be "blind dates".

Has anyone any views on this and more importantly any stories - any successes or disasters, or don't you bother if it's too close? This is relevant to us as we are looking to possibly meet someone in close(ish) proximity to us.

Thanks in anticipation

Barr work colleagues, anywhere. But we were once scared to do so and drew a 10 mile radius.

Sometimes the best meets are waiting at your doorstep

Someone who works across the road, someone who lives round the corner. Few people who live 5 mins away...

One guy who has a girlfriend on my road, i declined him for some reason.

I don't meet privately within my local area, but have met local people in clubs. I've no horror stories to tell, but too local can get awful clicky and that's not for me.

Southend, Essex

Normaly I would concider local as being aywhere in East Angular, London, Reding and Kent. But as I regularly go to Cardiff for personal reasons I also consider Cardiff and Newport in that category as well when I am traveling.

10 mile radius is our minimum limit but we do live in a very rural area where everyone knows everyone elses business lol and while we appreciate other members would be discrete, their neighbours might not be!

Not exactly sure why you'd be worried too much meeting locally, after all we're all here for the same reason aren't we and you'd have to be some kind of special knob to shout out "It's the couple/man/woman I/We fucked last week. They were ace/rubbish!" (delete as appropriate)

Local works for us.

One guy i met (good in bed, made me cum on his face 1st time i met him) kept popping up everywhere i was, even when out with my mate and our kids. Did get a bit awkward...

I operate a 5-mile exclusion principle. I don't want to be found locally.

At my father's 65th b'day we went out for lunch to a pub on the moors. Guess what? One of the waiters was this blonde student I'd knocked off a couple of times.

Poor bastard didn't know where to look, kept forgetting thing, fluffing the order.

To the point where my dad complained about 'the vacant service'.

Not worth the trouble.

400 mtrs up the road! Had a great time at theirs and even went out socially! They and we expect discretion, so not too worried about distance. And we actually liked to bump into them in town, go for a coffee and chat about normal (for everyone else) stuff.

Love the close ones
