I'm dreading this next week thanks to my lovely monthly gift. It's never the bleeding etc that concerns me, it's the emotional side.

I'm already feeling sappy, and breaking all the rules of feeling too involved in potential fbs.

I need a communication lock down for the next week so I don't make a complete arse of myself.

Took the words right out of my mouth, how my fb has put up with me for 18 months is beyond me. Now I just tell him when I'm due on and I get a "just let me know when you're back to yourself ". He's had everything from me telling him I love him to I hate him and never want to see him again.

Oh how it sucks to be a woman

Oh gosh. You've got an understanding one there. It really does mess us up doesn't it?!

I met an amazing guy on here, totally unexpected and blew me away. Not been able to meet again due to diaries clashing, but I'm sooo keen to see him. Worried about being an overbearing emotional wreck and scaring him off!

How I'll never know...deserves a medal and a few blowies!! However I've been blocked by him in the past, he's deleted my number and three of those months we didn't see each other because I had a particularly bad month! But we've kindled a friendship and keeps us good.

Best advice, if you think it sounds like you're being clingy then don't send...

I need to take heed of my own advice

That sounds tough. But I've definitely been there too.

I've deleted the message thread on my whatsapp so I'm not tempted!

All cravings will pass just need to keep busy.

I'm the same but not period, but pregnancy....had a meltdown yesterday.... It's never pretty when we have a hormonal breakdown

I always let my o.h know what is happening and apologize

Usually just get a slapped arse, a kiss and told to suck it up x

I got a green kitchen when I was pregnant (the ex hated green) and found out after he'd only agreed to it because he was scared I'd hurt him if not. It's the one time I'm more unpredictable than when I'm due on!

Good luck with it all, wouldn't change mine for the world...just the 9 months of mood swings!!

I really sympathise with you girls.

I've been a victim of my hormones all of my reproductive life! I tried everything from St. John's Wort to antidepressants.

I'm afraid the only thing that I can say is there is light at the end of the tunnel but it's quite a way off. It's called the menopause during which I thought I was going crazeeeee! Now I am calm and rational (most of the time anyway).

I think every woman has her moments of irrational thoughts and general paranoia. It's why guys find us so interesting and it keeps them on their toes.

My period has started this morning. So much pain, don't want to get out of bed. I need a lower back massage and a cuddle!

This is why during PE at school men are taught to run long distance and throw things.

So in later life we can run for our lives while throwing maltteasers back at the hormonal woman in our life.

"I would really recommend the mirena coil... no periods...no bloating and no p.m.s "

I had the Mirena and first time round it was excellent. Second time round I bled every day for 8 months. I got fed up of the constant pain so had it taken out. Now back to the terrible pain but only bleeding a few days out of each month. Sometimes I hate being a woman!

I wasn't informed of this?! I just looked it up but there seems to be small print concerning it's impact on the ability to multi task?

Many Y model owners find that careful use of the "yes dear" function can successfuly reduce the task load from the XX models to a more manageable pace

This made me giggle...

I had the implant fitted for 4 years. No periods!! But it made me feel like a souless zombie.

I have a copper coil- no hormones, and a much happier Redkixx... Well, for 21 days out of the 28...
