Why do so many single guys and the odd couple chat on FAB and then ask if we can whatsapp Kik or the likes. FAB offers genuine people what they need to chat, ok phone number exchange to verify or to com when you're meeting. Otherwise it's safer to stick with FAB isn't it ?

I dont know..its annoying though, especially when its on my profile that i dont do it( mainly cause my phone is broken and wont install new apps) and by the 3rd message its "have you got kik, whats app, skype?"...NO!

Because you can keep the convo in one place on whatsap, as here womens inboxes can be filled up quick so you can miss that email.

This definitely. Much easier to chat on kik or whatsapp than on Fab.

Because for so many it goes no further than chat , and they feel they can get more from what's app and kik etc ....

I do all my chatting here I rarely give out my phone number and only chat to two people from here on.what's.app ,chatting on here works better for me

But also an opportunity to get kicks from just that and waste people's time who want to meet

Just do what you arr comfortable with. If you don't want to chat via other methods then don't. Some find it easier. If I like chatting to someone I don't mind whether it's on here, whatsapp or kik. It makes no difference to me.

I chat to people on here until we have decided to meet. If I'm busy and don't want to chat I can log out of here. On Whatsapp you can't hide. Once you're online you are expected to answer messages and carry out a conversation. Not everyone realises you have a life and use Whatsapp to contact family and friends. Kik,is a pile of poo.

I think they feel it is more personal on kik etc but I down loaded it once and used my user name! BIG MISTAKE (stupid me)

I now stay on here as I am quicker typing than texting and I only give my number if I am going to meet.

Makes no difference to me whether Fsbs email, private email, playphone sms, whatsapp, kik, skype... its all horses for courses you see. As long as the person is interested then its up to them what form of communication they prefer: if it becomes clear to me they're politely telling me "no thanks" then i take the hint and move on

I use chat and pm to get to know people and then if meeting pass on kik / what's app details that way things can still flow

You can swap pics on most apps, they're after a wank. Some people want you to only talk to them so ask you to go on apps as well.

I just tell them i don't have those apps, hate people messaging me when i'm busy (or at 5am sending me dick pics).

I've had plenty of women ask for kik and whatsapp as those sites filter messages by sender and group them in a conversation whereas here they go into a big inbox and many women say the struggle with missing messages they want to read so prefer kik or whatsapp once they've decided they want to chat

Always been a bit of a red flag when people want to communicate via whatsapp or kik, never seem to get meets out of those people generally, happy to stay on contact we've people we've met via whatsapp or kik however
