Up on them there hills

The more you push the boundaries of your sexuality the more intense the play becomes.

The flip side of this (for me) is going back to more conventional play doesn't have the same thrill.

Can't help wondering if pushing boundaries lights up different parts of the brain such as the amygdala, which in turn releases the chemical release of hormones and this becomes addictive.

On the flip side you don't get this rush (well I don't) with conventual sex.

However, taking a flogger into a MRI scanner might just push my boundaries a little too far, although thinking about it.

Now I need to get out of the sun......

Pushing boundaries has been awesome in so many ways....however "conventional" sex still has the amazing intensity it always has, but that's probably because of my feelings for Paul...so I'm in a win-win situation

I used to play reasonably hard and have since stopped all that. Conventional play is now very unconventional simply because of the experience I have. Being able to read, slow down, change it up, take an idea from something or use a toy, rope or other with either their intended use or just as an aid to set the tone with someone means you are not limited to one (lets say) genre of sex.

Would have thought pushing boundaries, by the very nature, is not limiting yourself to the paradigm of one genre.
